Services

Fees
Our fees have been set based on the recommendation of the Association of Psychologists of Nova Scotia and are as follows:
Individual sessions are $225 per hour*
Couples and family sessions are $235 per hour*
Psychoeducational assessments are between $3,307-$3,600**
Adult ADHD assessments are between $2,300-$2,500**
School Aged Children Autism Assessment only are $4050
Autism and ADHD Assessments are $4500
Autism and Psychoeducational Assessments $5625
*Therapy sessions are a total of one hour, with 10 minutes for paperwork and 50 minutes for treatment.
**Additional fees may be incurred for report writing and/or testing and are determined on a case to case basis. For more information, please contact our office.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Master Card, e-transfer, Debit, cash and direct billing if applicable. We do not accept personal cheques.

Insurance Coverage
We accept direct billing with Blue Cross, Canada Life, Telus Health, and Great West Life.
We also work with Active Military Duty, PCVRS, Veterans Affairs, RCMP, WCB, NHIB, Doctors of Nova Scotia, and local university health plans.
Coverage can vary by provider, so we recommend confirming with your insurance company that your plan includes the services of the practitioner you plan to see.

Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancelling scheduled appointment times. If proper notice is not given, clients will be charged for the full appointment cost. For appointments that are two hours in length, we require at least 48 hours’ notice.
In the event your appointment occurs the day after a holiday, notice must be given by 12:00pm the business day prior to the holiday. If insufficient notice is given, you will be charged for the appointment.
In the case of a practice closure, you will be notified by phone or email of this closure, as well as a closure notice posted on the website and voicemail of the office.
** Please note, insurance companies do not cover the cost of missed or late cancellation appointment fees.
